I've been to the FUN show multiple times but I'm on South Florida so only a 230 or so mile drive for me.

Only a couple hundred miles to date (MI to IL ANA).

We're planning to fly out to next year's ANA in PA next year, though.

I'd love to fly out to some European auctions some day, but in today's world, it would be more for fun than necessity.

I hadn't been to many serious coin shows; in fact I think the two showings of COINS in Moscow might well have been the only ones. It was, I think, about 20ish km from where I lived at the time. [Looked it up; it was 17 km straight line.]

Counting weekly coin fairs, feels too close to call between that one fair in the far south of Moscow (30ish km, but >2 hours of travel, because it wasn't very close to the subway, unlike COINS which was not only close but also on the same subway line; it had since moved and I don't recall where exactly it was) and the Kaliningrad fair that I went to from Pionersky (~32 km away) a few times.
I've visited a flea market in Haifa recently to look for coins, but it wasn't specifically a coin fair or even a coin store, and apparently it was less than 30 km away by straight line (closer to 40 by road).

I did visit a coin store during my one-day visit to Munich (as part of my three-week trip to Germany) - but it wasn't on the itinerary; I accidentally noticed it from the bus window, and we were looking for excuses to get off that bus anyway

Oktoberfest?

My only visit to Munich was on a long layover at the airport one fall. I didn't even realize Oktoberfest was in full swing until the train into town from the airport starting filling with people in traditional garb (lederhosen for example) going to work at the beer gardens.
