ebay is required to collect and submit to the federal government 5% GST for each counterfeit sold by Canadians.
The RCMP, funded by the federal government, aware that counterfeits are being sold, take no action. Is it motivated by the fact that they benefit indirectly from the sale of counterfeits?
At some level can this be construed as corruption ? Our government and national police force benefitting from the sale of prohibited items?
