Beautiful banknotes, everyone! I love the colors on that Costa Rica note, NumisRob, and the dancing scene on your Seychelles note, scopru! Quote:

Here is my undated Jamaican Dollar that I suspect having been printed in 1989. I'd love confirmation and/or gentle correction. Thx all!   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

The 1989 note should have the date in the lower right corner on the front between the crest and the number area.
I believe your note is from 1960 (ND1970) ND (1982-1986) with likely date being 1982-1983 issue. I do not have my reference book with me, but a very fast search leads me to say your note is P54 P64a.
Edited - to correct my comments after reviewing my notes and standard catalog - speed kills and @walk2dwater nailed it. Apologies for any confusion on post something I had not thoroughly vetted.

That's the first "Jefferson" signature, acting Governor, on P-64 $1.00 @Spence. These "Bank of Jamaica Act" notes were first issued in 1982. HGB (Barber) took over as the central bank Governor in 1983* & it is unlikely the new signature reached the streets before 1984. So that note would have been issued between 1982 - 1983. 1988 Jamaica $50 P-73a:  Just found this $50 which was also from 1988. I had to check a couple resources but it does appear to be the first FIFTY Dollar note from Jamaica. I found this strange b/c I also have the early $100 ( P-74b) which was dated 1987 (the first, P-74a version came in 1986, or 2 years before the $50, P-73a)

Thx all for the lessons in dating banknotes--seems much more complicated than coins at times! Here is a 1000 Dong note dated 1988 and pulled from circulation in Vietnam:   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

This 1988 Rwanda 5000 Francs P-22a has a woman with a basket of fruit on her head and a family harvesting coffee on the obverse. The reverse shows a banana tree and Lake Kivu.   |

It is Jamaica P-74b $100 & features Sir Donald Sangster on the front & Dunns River Falls on the back.
