Here's a 50 Riyals (P-24a) with incorrect text from Saudi Arabia. I saw these Saudi notes (from 1983) a few years ago & wanted to get my hands on one. Won this 50 Riyals example over the summer. The incorrect text, an extra diacritical mark, is above the dome pictured on the front left panel & was revised for P-24b & P-24c versions.

A couple of new ones, very pleased with the condition of this, and aesthetically pleasing.

@ DavidUK

As I am not familiar with the cyrillic alphabet I need to ask:
From which country/countries are these nice notes?

I recently (finally!) obtained an example of the red 1914 Bank of Communications Tientsin branch 5 Yuan with the double 'P' control marks on the back. The P is thought to indicate that the note was actually put into circulation by the nearby downgraded Peking (Beijing) branch of the bank.

I recently bought this 1943 500 Yuan of the Central Reserve Bank of China in a group of 1940s Chinese notes. These Japanese puppet bank issues are notorious for poorer quality printing, but this is a pretty good error example even by the standards of the type. The seals and serials are badly skewed with the left serial almost entirely in the upper border.

Interesting banknote. Any idea what the overprint "90" means?

The '90' is a control overprint indicating that the note was placed into circulation by another bank or business other than the Bank of Communications. These are also found as letters, different formats of numbers, Chinese characters, and even logos. Sometimes there's several used at once.

@redlock

They are from Russia, PRE Soviet union.

The top one says "state credit note" which I think is kind of cool.
