walk2dwater Pillar of the Community Canada 2665 Posts	Posted 08/26/2019 08:33 am Interesting "Scots." Doing a little digging myself: The Romanian poet is Lucian Blaga (& there is a version of the P107 note with an unusual BNR watermark). For the 500 Pengo (P117) the portrait of the lady first appears in 1923 on the 500,000 & 1,000,000 Korona notes (P79 & P80). Both 1923 high denomination Korona notes must be pretty uncommon as they command pretty high BV at $400 to $750USD (from lower to higher denom). https://sites.google.com/view/notap...ng-banknotes Report this Post to the Staff

CelticKnot Bedrock of the Community United States 12936 Posts	Posted 08/26/2019 6:46 pm I like that Romanian note! I splurged on about 100 notes a week or so ago and they should be showing up soon. Can't wait! It is SOOooooo dangerous to have a glass of wine in hand while shopping for bank notes on ebay.... And every time I buy a group of notes I really want to expand my collection to a type-style collection of at least one note from every country that's ever used paper money. Oy! Mind you- I had these notes on my watch list for a while. Now, I gotta get those notes scanned! https://sites.google.com/view/notap...ng-banknotes Report this Post to the Staff
