drnsreedhar Pillar of the Community India 1995 Posts	Posted 11/11/2011 1:07 pm Hello PaulMcCormick, the coin you posted (Mushida bad mint) is found with two types of edges, vertically milled and obliquely milled. From the image of the edge posted, it is difficult to make out the type. Still it is most probably type KM# 99,Standard catalogue of South Indian coins and paper money, Krause publications. drnsreedhar Pillar of the Community India 1995 Posts	Posted 11/25/2011 10:36 pm This is a Rupee of the Mughal ruler Muhammad shah (1718-1748.AD), issued from Shajahanabad mint with the mint epiphet "Dar ul Khilafat" in his regnal year 23(AH-1253-54). legend on the obverse reads "Muhammad shah badshah ghazi" on the top line, with the AH date-115x below it on the right.
