So, ALL of the mints sets from 2005-2010 are 100% satin finish coins? I have 2009 for the copper cents. Good to know I can just pick up those remaining mint sets to get them all.

Thanks everyone!

I bought a binder with slip case and some 2x2 pages. Looks like for now, I'll go with 2x2s. It's unfortunate that my hand writing is terrible. That's what I miss about preprinted albums.

Anyone have any tips on labeling 2x2s?

I have some CAPS albums but they are a little pricey for circulated non-valuable coins. They are also huge.

Thanks

I have a collection of French coins and since there's really no albums for them, I'm just curious how you guys organize your foreign collections.

I don't see anything about a large print version.

I'm doing the Dansco 8166/8167 combo and added a page to 8167 for the collector versions and any type 2 proofs (I'm not at home but I think only the 1981 doesn't have a spot). I think I only need the elusive 1998 mate finish for those.

I picked up 33 silver proofs at FUN (for 24x FV and was able to finish off 8166 and a bunch in 8167.

Side story. I was telling my LCS guy how some guy bought all of the silver proof dimes and quarters right before my turn. He tells me his friend was at FUN and was coming over. The guy walks in and it was guy who bought all of the dimes and quarters. I'm kicking myself for not offering to buy them from him at a little profit. Oh well. Maybe I'll ask the LCS guy to pass on my offer.

Sorry about that late responses. I missed them.

@NumisBob - How do you display your sets? Do you just keep them in the boxes? That's what I've done so far and it's kinda boring and a bit of a pain when I want to go through them.

@Jbuck - It's funny you should mention your graded Ike set and one in an album. I'm doing the same thing. I'm pretty much done with my graded Ike set. I picked up a couple of UNC Ikes at the FUN show. I had the #21 Ike set a few years ago but I moved on but I might take another at it and see if I can upgrade anything.

I still haven't decided what to do with the FDC sets. The 1968 is outrageously priced. It's not like they are that popular even with the low mintage.

Do your hoarded copper cents include Wheaties or do you separate those out? That's what I do but I don't have a ton of them lying around. Wrapping up cents is not cost effective to me.

The Dansco website says they'll be working on cent albums in December. I hope they do the Wheat cents first. Can't find it anywhere.

Are there any recommended sources bookwise) for learning about counterfeits? Maybe something that also has an ebook version?

I ordered a 2024 UNC set and bought the rest of the innovation dollar proof sets I didn't have. I'll get a Dansco date book for them if one exists.

Another option is to get them graded by. The 1973 set received ms-68s and half ms-69s from ANACS.
