I recently obtained this 1994-D Lincoln cent, which is in very good overall appearance with no dings, scratches, or noticeable wear, and with its original shine and color (although this is not apparent in my poor photos). A very common coin, but a detail between the letters of the word "America" caught my attention, which becomes a groove that runs around the circumference parallel to the listel until it reaches the letters "NT" for "CENT." I hope it can be seen in the photos. I think it is a minting error, but what kind of error is it? How can I name it for the coin's details sheet?

I want to show you this little Maravedí from the Barcelona mint that I have obtained, I bought it thinking 1719, but now in my hand under a magnifying glass...it is not 19, it is not 18, it is both!!...I thought it would be damaged although The coin is actually very good, but surprise, in the catalog that I use iappears a 19/18...which leads me to think that this could be one of those overdated specimens that also must not be very common... I hope you can see it in the photos, I personally see 9 and 8, it also depends on how you look at the coin the effect becomes more evident. On these copper coins I have observed that when the date is seen even when worn, the numbers are recognizable (not in cases of extreme wear)..here there is no wear, they are clear, but confusing between 9 and 8 (sometimes it is clearly 8 other times it is clearly 9) another detail that leads me to think about the overdate without being able to enter into subjective doubts, especially since there are precedents in the catalog although I could not find a photo of any specimen to compare.

Thanks for the information! It's difficult to find something about it, I don't know how you can tell a NM coin from an old one... I've found some for sale even from NGC but it's the same as any other in appearance...

I would like to show you one of the latest additions to my collection, it is 1 Peso from Chile from 1875, silver 900 24,5g 37mm mint 2.128.000. It is a beautiful coin with an impressive Condor breaking a chain with the beak while grabbing a shield with its claw. I like the legend "By reason or by force." I really recommend it.
I have seen that there is a So NM variant, but I don't know what NM mean.

It's just a theory, but the line of four protuberances under the bow seems to coincide with the holes in a crown like the one on the reverse...

I would like to show you this new addition to my collection...it is 20 Liras from the reign of Vittorio Emmanuel in Italy, it is from 1928 commemorating the end of the First World War, named "Capellone" or "Elmetto". It has a size of 35.5 and a weight of 20 grams of 600 silver. It has a beautiful design on both sides, however Vittorio Emanuele was a renowned numismatist...The helmet, along with that of the Balboa of Panama, is the best placed that I have seen on a coin taking advantage of almost the entire half of the field. If you are used to seeing Vittorio without a helmet, this coin impresses. I also have the reverse, the magnified fascio, and the legend "it is better to live one day as a lion than one hundred years as a sheep", breaks everything!! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and I had to get her.

The defects extend beyond the main diameter of the crushing, I refer again to the areas of the bow and behind the neck. Also although there are sharp shocks like cliffs, everything looks very homogeneous, including the patina.I show a photo of a coin in good condition, as can be seen in the area behind the neck, the original bow is not crushed, but rather a large part of it never existed, leaving drop-shaped reliefs.

Thank you for your answers. I'm not entirely sure if it is PMD. Please note the impressions under the ponytail and behind the neck, they are clearly part of the original mint, but they should not be there, this is clearly visible when comparing it with a coin in good condition.

I would like to show you these 5 Céntimos de Real de Isabel II 1868, the bronze coin weighs 10.85 and measures 32mm in diameter. The thing is, as you can see, it has a strong print... Does anyone know what this could be due to? clash die? One coin over another when minting?

I wanted to show you this coin stamp from Spain, issued during the 1938-1939 civil war due to the shortage of metal. The stamp marked the face value of the cardboard coin. I hope you like it.

Offered me this coin for approximately 90 dollars. The truth is that it looks very good, and I don't have much chance of getting these coins even if they are so worn....do you think it can be authentic coin at a good price?

thanks for your answer!
I have seen that collectors of euro bills sometimes form banknote couple called radar, using the last two figures (last serial number + checksum) of consecutive series (consecutive without counting the checksum)... like this example. ... https://www.delcampe.net/es/colecci...3123072.html or this https://www.delcampe.net/es/colecci...0191628.html
I have no doubt about that, my doubt arises when a third consecutive bill is also interposed, forming a radar trio...
