Thought I'd share and ask if it is worth the error to send off to grading? This penny is in excellent shape and wish I had the camera to prove it.

Can you tell me if this is missing the clad I think it is after all my research on both sides. PLUS is it common to be missing a letter? I looked with a 300x magnifier and it is missing the A in dollar completely. My pictures are of regular phone pics and some with magnifier so the color is lighter in the pics. The quarter is almost black and a silver rim both sides.

The back of the coin is so shiny like a proof coin but a tinted color. The front of the coin looks like it is worn out but has a lot of silver color and brownish orange.

Am I holding something rare or keep dreaming?

Anything super cool or rare here? Sorry I'm so new but they have to be somewhat valuable I assume.
