Personally I believe it to be PMD. Abrasion lines caused by the pennies passing over or under something prior to being rolled.

There is a Non Magnetic cent (2005 set) open for bidding right now and its been bid up $700 CDN right now.
I guess that is about $5 bucks US.

commems, check to see if the cent is magnetic or non magnetic. As the specs mention, they should be plated steel however some had non magnetic cents that sold for large premiums.

When the RCM sees high interest in a particular coin they normally try to capitalize with follow up coins. Swarovski coins, Birds, Dinosaurs, Pysanka coins etc etc etc.
As beautiful as they are, this was the primary reason that caused me to stop purchasing the NCLT many years ago.
