Well I've been gone for a while, the boss hired his two sons and I was afraid of loosing my job, but all they did was give me more work (no time for internet playing). One of the sons has purchased a couple of Pesos and wanted to know some info. What is the metal composition of these coins, how much is silver? Are there any errors to look out for? The dates are 1932, 1933 and 1938. They are kinda nice looking, sorry I'm not a grader. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. I actually get to come to this site with permission from the boss. Yeah! Thanks for the help. LeAnn

Thanks. Biokemist6: I figured you would know what it was. Mine looks similar to that but has the: We'll Remember in November at the bottom. It could be 1821 not 1921 at the top under Missouri. Sorry scanner still not working today. LeAnn

Sorry, scanner not working today, will try to post pics tomorrow.
My daughter received a quarter in change and on the back there is a sticker stuck on the coin. At the top it says: Missouri 1921 and on the bottom it says: We'll Remember in November
Looks like two people in canoe, but it's really hard to see the picture.
Does anyone know what the reason behind this sticker is? The sticker is exactly the size of the quarter. Thanks for the help. LeAnn

First eligible contestant to agree to the rules and respond to this message will win.
Ineligibles who have won Geocaching previously: #1 Insideout #2 Lucky_13 #3 arthrene #4 graceoutcast #5 justabeginner #6 mycrob #7 MINT_MARQ #8 LeAnn
The rules are copied below from karrlot/MintMarq
The first person to respond to this post, who has 50 quality posts, who has not won the "Pick Your Prize Pay It Forward" with in the last 15 times, will receive a package containing more than one fabulous prize (probably 3 or 4). You may choose one fabulous prize, then replace it with something of similar fabulousness, then you must hold the contest again and send the group of fabulous prizes to the next person. At any point, anyone can add an extra fabulous prize so that the next person will have even more fabulous prizes to choose from.
Here is one important rule - you have to trade for an item that is similar in fabulousness. You can't take out a silver half and replace it with a common date Lincoln cent. You could take out a 1964 silver half and replace it with 2 1964 silver quarters, (but they must be kept together as one fabulous prize). Its really up to you to decide, but if all you have to trade is a sorta-fabulous item, then don't take a super-fabulous item, just take a sorta-fabulous item.
If this keeps going as well as the PIF has, I think it is okay for people to win more than once, because the prizes will be changing all the time. So, you can't enter if you've won with in the last 15 times, but after that, then you can enter again.
In summary: 1) Respond to the post (if you have 50 quality posts) 2) Receive a package of fabulous prizes 3) Pick a fabulous prize to keep for yourself 4) Add a similarly fabulous prize to the package 5) Hold the contest again and send the fabulous prizes to the next person. |

my first error find
I normally don't look for errors, but was packing up quarter to ship and this one just looked different when I pulled it from the roll. Now what do I do with it? LeAnn

pm usually means private message. This forum has an e-mail system to send messages. On any response to a topic there is a little picture with an envelope on it, that is to send an e-mail to that poster. Or you can click on the person's name and their profile shows up and there is a spot under their picture(avatar) to click to send an e-mail.
If I didn't explain it right, someone correct me. LeAnn
