Just wanted to share this one I have over here in Oz. It's a NZ 2 cent piece struck on a Canadian 1 cent blank. Pics are a bit old now.
The Canadian Mint produced coins for New Zealand that year, and it is the same weight as a Canadian 1 cent coin, 2.5 gms.

a couple more
, I started off collecting back in the early 1980's. I was given a partial set of predecimal coins in an album as a gift. Kicked off from there. Was a bit different back then as a few of the older collectors will know. I started collecting the errors and varieties only about 20 years ago. All up this is 40 years.
