That's indeed a nice example..

These coins were struck on top of a previous issue. See https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2276.html for more info.

I've never seen any and I've been looking for ages.

@Pertinax, there are still plenty nice ones to find.. I buy coins per kilogram, always from the same seller.. and have now 5 very good examples in my Italian album.. and even one showing the full date and the denomination on the other side.. So one day, when you not expected, one will pop-up for you..

And what about the zinc Groschen from Austria, the years after WWII. A lot of them are struck on the German Reichspfennig.. These are a bit harder to find as zinc is 'softer'.. but these are often overseen, by fellow collectors.. I'm always on the hunt for these..

Nice one, but in my humble opinion is this machine doubling, and not a doubled die..

To be honest.. My Netherlands collection is not that spectaculair.. As I collect worldcoins, I'm always on the look for bargains.. And Dutch silver/ older coins here in the Netherlands are not that easy to find them cheap.. But one of the few 5 cents I have is a 1869..

The next one, is one of my favorite 'Doubled dies"..

Iran, 10 Rials 1989.
First exact match (no need for a doudled die, just the regular one is ok)
After 2 hours any 10 Rials from Iran.
After 4 hours any coin from Iran

I'm also fishing..
I have a lot of circulating coinage, also from Morocco..
But not the 1 Santim 1987 or 1974..
1 Santim = 0,001 USD..
