That's the headpiece to the Staff of Ra!! You can use it to find the Ark of the Covenant.

Hi Spence, I typically do. I usually buy from Vcoins, CNG, Baldwins, and dealers at the NYINC, but I was just browsing eBay out of curiosity. This is a type I'm interested and can't find many others currently available. That's probably a good thing since I went a little overboard in New York City a couple of weeks ago. I'm still licking my wounds a bit!

I'm considering bidding on this piece. Weight is 3.54 grams, diameter is 18.5mm. Anybody question the authenticity?

I really love the ancient depictions of Victory on their coins. This has become an area of collecting for me. I also have a full back tattoo of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Victory that stands before William T. Sherman in Manhattan.

This is the image that got me into collecting coins... I've got two of these bees tattooed on me. Definitely Ephesos. Stages on one side, bee on the other. I've got a really nice and well centered example of this. I think it's an obol.

Nice piece, handsome fella!! I don't collect from this time period, but I do have a Machin's Mills piece that I'm fond of, especially since I'm from the Newburgh area.

If that hole was placed over his face, it would really remind me of the T-1000 from Terminator 2

Thanks for the advice everyone! Victor, I just bought a denarius from you this morning, thanks so much for it! It reminds me of the Saint-Gaudens statue. Can't wait to get it!!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm looking for that particular type featuring Victory on the reverse. It's a specific image I'm really attracted to.

I've seen this type or a similar type struck in gold. Really cool, but I prefer the ones where the dragon is clearer.

I've got tattoos of the $20 gold eagle, and the walking liberty eagle. I'm happy to see them so favored!

That first portrait located in the top left almost looks like part of the skull/jaw is exposed because of that indentation and the shape of the jaw. Looks kind of neat to me.

Thank you everyone! Yeah, I had a feeling something looked off with the actual coin, but I'm no expert in the area. I'm going to wait around for a graded example or buy one from someone reputable
