I would lean toward over polishing of the die, but wait for the error experts to speak up.

Not a counter-clash. Hard to tell if the reverse out of alignment or not. If it's normal, you have a MAD (misaligned die).
If the reverse is out of alignment too, its an "off center" strike.

I don't think that's an error. Looks like someone hit it with a punch/screw driver, PMD. There is probably an area opposite that mark on the reverse that is flattened some.

That picture is a little better. It looks like the cent took a hit from something in circulation. Afraid its just PMD, and a spender.

IPP = ImPaired Proof, these were proof coins found in circulation

My bank didn't have any dollar coins, so I had them order me a box. I picked it up the other day.
