Stopped on the way back from work first machine waited for the lady to finish bag after bag of coins glad I did she left me a 1968 Canada nickel and a 1964 D Roosevelt , second stop £2.50 in U.K. change and a clad quarter
I haven't posted in a long time since I haven't until today found anything much of interest today found a tarnished 1954 D Washington a clad dime and a 1 cent Euro
I went to the store today there was a guy using the coinstar as I walked by I noticed a lot of coins in the reject tray it took him about 10 minutes to finish up I observed from a distance he got his receipt and did not check the reject tray my lucky day he left me 5.02 in modern change and a 1946 D Roosevelt . Yesterday I only found 28 cents however the quarter was a 2003 S Alabama clad proof still in pretty nice condition
Finally today found something out of 5 machines checked around $2 in modern change a dozen junk tokens , coins from Australia, Philippines,Peru and UK .one machine produced a 1957 D Washington, the other a 1964 Roosevelt
Today I stopped at a little bank inside a supermarket I usually ask if they have any half dollars never gotten any good finds here until today. So today the teller says he has a roll of halves of course I'll take them , open it up first thing I see is 67 Dump out the rest of the roll, 2x1965, 4x1966,7x1967,5x1968,2x1969 ,20 silvers total
When I was searching I had a guy I found on craigslist who would buy every Eiisehower I brought him for $1.30 ea I got rid of close to 1000 clads this way and made a nice profit
This is a mini jackpot for me ,my usual strikeout coinstar produced 19 modern cents and a 1939 Mercury and 1953 D Roosevelt it made finding only 43 cents at work not so bad
Keep swinging upside down on those monkey bars kida and I'll keep swinging my detector I think my record for a school playground was $23 something for a few hours detecting
