Unsure what this is, but it doesn't feel modern. Looks to be lead or lead alloy mix. Weighs 4g and is approx 21mm.

I have a copy of Hartills book but can't find coins with a raised square centre and round hole.

Do we think a contemporary attempt at a forgery or a token?

This token is about 1mm larger than a dime and has what appears to be a Greek priest on the obverse. Any idea what it was for/ or from?

This appears to be an Irish 50c - has no detail except a small part of the '50' remains on one side and central section of the harp on the other.

Weighs the same as a normal coin, but it has a smooth plain edge rather than indentations.

Has someone taken to buffing this coin up for some reason or was this struck like this?

Just gone through a big batch of tokens/medallions and pulled out several of the usual WRL replica roman types as well as new ones I've not seen before marked either 'R' or Meku NP75. These seem to be higher quality, are these collectable in their own right?

There was about 40 total in the lot, and knowing the rest were clearly replicas I 99.9% assume this is too, but it feels more 'real' in hand. That might be brass/copper showing through on some wear on the obverse but I'm impressed by the reverse and what appears normal wear on the details of a silver coin - quite scary really. I take it this is clearly fake to the trained eye?

Very interesting!

The portait of the 'queen' (intended to be Victoria maybe) is a lot less flattering on mine than yours even disregarding the desperate Dan chin

I'm going to look around a few of the old Indian princely state coins to see if the script in the centre circle is similar to any.

Have updated, its about 4g - quite heavy for such a small token. Other post was not me so it seems there is more than one out there (unless we have the same one!)

I'm intrigued by the spelling of 'doller'

Pulled this out of a lot, google search is throwing nothing up. First thoughts it could be old vintage toy money?

Appears copper, 19mm, weight approx 4g

Need help with this one, am at a loss as to which country this is from. Looked through all my books.. I had initially thought Tunisian, similar in style. Or maybe one of the Indian princely states.

Found it - late 1800's Vietnamese Cash Coin. Thanh Thai 1888-1907

Note to self... if you've spent 30 mins in a Chinese Cash catalogue and can't find it, try Annam/Vietnam!

Or perhaps elsewhere. Spent an hour or so trawling through my China & japan books to find this to no avail- where does this hail from?

Tiny little thing, the size of model toy money tokens so perhaps its a similar thing. Trying to identify where it hails from, can anyone identify the writing on the reverse?

Limited knowledge in this area, I've found similar online but nothing 'exact' any ideas and if this is legitimate, came in with a lot of coins. Around 15mm.

I've actually had a canteen token from SMS Konigsburg before, so wondered if this was a navy canteen token too.

My doubt is that the S.M.S is at the bottom, whereas it would usually be at the top. I've had a look through a list of imperial German navy ships and cant find anything that could be K. C .C... the first letter could be Kanteen I guess.
