Calgary Coin has a few coins with the 8 pearls on George the 5th coins. Being relatively inexperienced in some of the nuances of grading does this matter in relation to grading or is this just a collectors preference?
Had to figure out on my own that it relates to the 4 sets of 2 dots on the lower portion of the reverse crown. This is a 5 cent from 1910.
Well it's nice to see a different set of coins and thanks for participating.
NumisEd Sweet story of the Andria Doria, serving to protect Philadelphia against the British scum is an epic end to a beautiful ship. 4 points
ttkoo Four points only but I'm giving an extra 5 because it deserves to be seen. Nice. 9 points
Triggersmob Another artfully done coin, scary for the person being run at with a bayonet at the ready to impale British scum. 7 points October Revolution got you 12 points, trying to translate the Cyrillic was difficult on the reverse but great example.
Hondo Boguss Got goosebumps with yours, and it came in at 12 points because it has Liberty on the reverse along with hands up.
Hondo won because I am pro Liberty and down with slavery, Stalin and the English!!!
Show your Revolutionary related coinage, pre 18th Century worth 3 points, 19th Century 2 points, 20th Century 4 points.
The word Liberty is worth 3 points, Peace worth 2 points, Poor worth 2 points. English doesn't matter as long as the translation equates to those 3 words.
Any individual on the coinage holding their arm up to the sky is worth 8 points.
Just for fun y'know. Always loved the iconography of this coin.
