@MoneyPenney
Received my e-mail from the RCM at 10 am on Thursday for the new release "1947 Maple Leaf Mark 2 oz. Coin". I am a Platinum member.
Heading on the body of the e-mail has the ""Masters Club Loyalty Program" banner.
I promptly purchased the Coin......
Friday night I went back to the RCM website to check on the status of the Coin and it is no longer displaying on the Website.
Same thing today, Saturday morning, no where to be found.
Another glitch on the RCM website?
Can anyone else see the coin today? |

@New1954
I'm not seeing anything on the RCM Website yet, I am a Masters Club Platinum member
I'm assuming if you can see it you must be a Prestige or higher member.
I'll be looking for my e-mail from the RCM at 9am tomorrow morning which is what I have calculated for the release date for Platinum members.
Looking for the "Limited Collectors edition" set of non-circulation coins and of course the Silver Super Incuse 1 oz. Silver Maple Leaf. At a mintage of 8,000 and no limit on what you can order hopefully there will still be some available in the morning. |

Last night I was on the RCM website and noticed the 2022 Special Edition Silver Dollar for the Queens Jubilee was no longer listed as sold out.
I attempted to purchase one but the site would not let me complete the purchase.
This morning I called the RCM. The Customer Service Rep told me that the RCM had sold out the original 25,000 allotments of these coins. The REP then indicated with the recent events of the Queens passing the RCM was going produce an additional 3500 Special Edition Silver Dollars. Also the REP indicated since I had purchased one Special Edition Silver dollar when they were issued earlier this year the strict limit of one per household would not let me purchase another silver dollar. This is why the purchase would not go through last night.
Just looked at the RCM website and they are still available. So if you haven't already purchased one from the Mint, get one before they are gone. |

Thanks Vonigohcr for your Monthly post on RCM releases....
Now here we go again.....something is messed up at the RCMint.
I am a Masters Club Platinum Member. After logging on to RCM website last night, I noticed this months releases were already posted on the website. I attempted to purchase the Silver SML Fractional Set. When attempting to add it to my cart an error came up "item not added to your cart". So I abandoned the purchase. This morning the Silver SML Fractional Set still appeared on the website, and this time I was able to add to my cart and actually purchase the set. I also received my confirmation e-mail from the RCM after purchasing the item.
Now tonight none of this months releases are posted on the website, not even the Silver SML Fractional Set that I purchased this morning. Now I believe the higher tier members may see the releases today and tomorrow depending on their level. Normally the Platinum members will not see the releases until Thursday, but for me they appeared last night and early today but have since disappeared.
Anyone else notice that the September release appeared on the website but is now gone. |

I received no email from the RCM or a Rep. At present even though I am a Platinum Member I have no rep. Had one 3 or 4 years ago but haven't heard from a REP in a long time.....
The bottom line here I was able to purchase the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar to keep my collection streak going at all 8 of the Renewed Silver Dollars.....
Now if the RCM would only add the 1958 BC Centennial silver dollar to the list of Renewed Silver dollars would really make me happy!!! |

Interesting scenario here with the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar.
I am a Master's Club Platinum Member. Several weeks ago I received the Master's Club newsletter via e-mail. In the newsletter it indicated the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar was coming in September.
Tuesday night I located the 2022 Renewed Silver Dollar on Ebay. Someone had it posted and now I knew what it looked like.
For some reason Thursday night I checked this Forum, haven't looked lately, and found the post for the Renewed Silver Dollar. When I saw this post I thought I would check the RCM website and lo and behold it was available for purchase. So I grabbed one right away.
Now being a Platinum member I usually get e-mails from the Mint when I am eligible to purchase the coin. I received no e-mail on Thursday or even today.
I am assuming the monthly RCM release will come this coming Tuesday in the mail. On a normal month the release comes to the top tier members on the Monday night. Being at the Platinum level I should get the email Thursday.
So what happened here with the Renewed Silver Dollar? Someone at the RCM release it a week early? Was this a mistake? No e-mail indicating the coin had been released....yet?
I got mine to keep the collection going. |

Being a first time Platinum MC Member, up from the Gold level previously, I received my notice via email on Thursday morning at 9am. I then promptly ordered my silver 1oz. incuse. By early Thursday afternoon the 1oz silver incuse was already awaiting stock.
Last year I missed out on the silver 1oz. incuse from the RC Mint and had to purchase one from Gatewest coins.
So moving up a level to Platinum and also the mintage increase from 6000 to 7000 helped me obtain it from the Mint. I would prefer to buy from the Mint to maintain my MC Member level status.
My purchasing is down this year so far as I'm not very impressed with selection of NCLT products so far. I'm a traditionalist with coin collecting, if its not round and shiny I'm not into purchasing these items. The animal shapes and weird designs do not appeal to me. |

So much for the World Juniors....
2022 is the 50th Anniversary of the Summit Series in 1972 that featured Canada vs. Russia.
Could the 2022 Gold Plated Silver Dollar be a 50th Anniversary Version of the 1972 Series?
I have several autographed 1997 Proof Sets that was the 25th Anniversary of the Summit Series
1-Yvan Cournoyer and John Ferguson 2-Paul Henderson and ? 3-Brad Park and Rod Gilbert

@applesauced @jimper
I feel your pain.....
I am one of the lucky ones, I needed $142 to make it to Platinum back in late November.
Luckily the 2021 $2 Silver Coin and Banknote Set finally shipped out to my house. This gave me the final $149.95 to get me to the Platinum level.
Now I'm not understanding the Mint's policy. The $2 set was delivered to my residence when I originally ordered it back in June. The set contained the incorrect $2 banknote, it did not have a Replacement banknote as featured. Mint indicated to me to return the set for a set that had the proper banknote. So instead of the Mint exchanging the set they refunded my money and then indicated a new set would sent to me once they were available. No mention in the e-mail they sent regarding a refund. This lowered my dollar value towards the Platinum level. Luckily the set showed up in early December.
Waited over 5 months to get the correct set. I was also beginning to wonder what would happen if this set did not show up until 2022. |

Anyone out there have any inside information on what the 2022 Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar will be.
Just chilling out today enjoying the Festive Season watching World Junior Hockey from Edmonton and looking at my Canadian Silver Proof Gold Plated Collection. I have a Gold Plated Silver dollar from every year since the first Gold Plated Silver dollar came out in 2002. I have housed this collection in the RCM Masters Club Wooden Premium Collection Case.
One of my favorite collections.

@jimper
Your quote "I'm surprised that 5000 1 ounce Silver Peace dollar are sold out though."
As opposed to the Master Club Renewed Silver Dollar that indicated a strict limit of 1 per household.....
I'm quite sure the Peace Dollar 1 oz. and Peace Dollar 5 oz had no limit for purchases.
A quick check of EBAY provided at least 2 listings for the Peace Dollar 1 oz: -one listing indicated more than 10 coins available - the other listing indicated 8 available and 2 sold.
So it appears that there were Prestige Members and higher buying multiples of these coins

Ditto
As a Master Club member, I have one of each of the 'renewed silver dollar' series since it's inception.
But since the RCM changed the Masters Club program this year here is one of the problems.
I am a Gold Member, I'm trying to get to the platinum level. Right now I am about $400 short of the Platinum level. Had I been able to purchase the following coins I would be well into the Platinum level:
Avro Arrow 5oz Snowbirds 5oz Silver Incuse 1oz.
But since the Mint changed the Masters Club levels all of these coins were sold out before they were released to the Gold Level Members.
Also I purchased the $2 dollar Toonie and Banknote set, but the Mint had the wrong $2 Dollar bill inserted in this set. The Mint said to return it for the proper replacement bill for the set. So I returned the set, the Mint gave me a refund which also lowered my dollar total to get to the Platinum level.
The set was supposed to be shipped for Oct. 27th but now has been delayed for at least another month. So why did the Mint give me a refund and just not do an exchange so it would not affect my dollar level.
Stuck between a rock and hard place.....
Hoping I will still be able to get the 2021 Renewed Silver Dollar from the RCM.
I have been a loyal coin collector purchasing coins from the RCM for the last 40 years.....
