I bought a slabbed 1923-S PD from that seller in April and had no issues.

Earle,

Funny enough, I just put in an order last night for a Windows 7 OEM copy and a program to run natively! Judging by your screencap, I think it was the right decision.

I've been tempted to try it with an crusty PD I picked up but... they're kinda vague on what they will and will not attempt to fix (or I'm just not good enough to justify a ~ $25 bet on it).

Huh, I feel like that's a complete improvement on everything I absolutely hated about the smaller (cheapo) Celestron scope. After hours of focusing that thing, I'd be willing to shell out the extra money for the sturdy setup. The 5mp camera is added incentive, so long as they aren't stretching the truth about Mac OSX compatibility this time.
