I'm so bummed. I found in with in a hugh pail of wheat coins the guy was selling for 8 for $1.
BTW...that's a fork holding it up. I'd never use pliers either.
Thanks for all the input and I learned something as well. Although I would never have guessed it purposely being done.
I'll keep looking.

I found this penny (Iam new to this) and Need help figuring out what it is. It looks like it was stamped twice (once inverted) and the back us totally different from a penny image. It weighs 3.15g. Any thoughts?

This penny was in my fathers collection he gave me when he passed. Does anyone know what the stamp on it means?
