There's very little wear this coin. And there's still grime in the devices. The Reverse looks to be uncleaned, but the Obverse fields look like someone tried to wipe it clean at some point. I don't think a cleaning agent was used. Maybe just a cloth of some kind, wiped hard and repeated a little?
I searched for a long while to find an real old leather album but could never find one. Then one day a coin dealer told me that dealers keep those ones for themselves whenever they find one as rare and nice as I was looking for . I ended up with a binder from WalMart full of pages of 2x2's.
Well, here's what I had on the holder already before I posted this coin. I bought it (not recently) from East Coast Coins as MS and agree with the grade.
I do agree this is an Obverse 1, judging by the roundness of the forehead. I like the soft look and natural toning. Everyone who owned this coin before you did a swell job protecting it.
And such good condition! This one looks to have only thought about being circulated for a short time. The details in the hair are extraordinary!
