Yeah, I also watched the second hour of the show yesterday. I found the tactic of showing the $2700 price screenshot of a third-party reseller questionable and desperate. So I'm glad this coin wasn't sold out at TSC.

I admit this puzzle coin is stunning. But it's also a cash grabber for Mr. Bromberg.

Overall, I found the show entertaining and informative.

RCM always had a very small allocation of puzzle coins, at least for the previous two sets.

So I assume the puzzle coin series is commissioned by CC&C.

Thanks New1954 for the heads up.

There are a few interesting coins in this release.

I like the puzzle coin set. However, at $160 per ounce, the price is high.

The hexagon coin is nice too. Nevertheless, with a high mintage (and a high price), I can comfortably wait for the Black Friday discount.

Thanks New1954 for the heads up. And congratulations on 1,000 posts!

I don't get why they mint 15,000 black rhodium coin at $150 each. There is a lot of greed there.

Thank you for the heads up!

I found the bold eagles design interesting. The two eagles look like American Eagle Type 1 & 2 designs. Maybe American Eagle fans will like this.

Thanks for the heads up.

I found the 5-oz RCMP coin interesting. But $650 is expensive for me.

I thought RCM would only unveil the coronation coins on Saturday. That's exciting! Get your wallets ready everybody!

@Steve309, because this has been an unpopular series, which also explains why RCM had to end it after the third coin.

According to TSC, there will be The Coin Show on Saturday May 6 starting at 7 pm. So RCM is expected to reveal coronation coins on that day.

Thanks for the heads up.

Steven Bromberg mentioned something about coronation in last Coin Show, so I expect a few coins about this topic. Maybe they will release them around May 6.

Thanks for the info. I haven't seen the design. But I'm glad to hear the mintage stays the same.

I actually think St Edward's Crown could be the final coin in this series, because all tiaras, diadems, and crowns have already been featured. I'm not the expert in Crown Jewels though.

I always assume RCM and dealers check this forum frequently.

If a post says a coin is priced incorrectly or forgets to charge taxes, they will fix it immediately.

Therefore, I'm not sure how broadcasting such info here can benefit the community. It certainly benefits the dealers: they basically outsourced the error-checking job - their job - to the community.

There are four resellers selling this coin on eBay. So far they sold zero.

Good job.

The email said "Masters Club Low Cert.", which probably means low COA numbers for Masters Club members.

There is no mentioning of "Masters Club" or "Exclusive" on the product page - when it was still up.

There is no way the coin was sold out. However, RCM could have sold all low COA coins, so they took down the page temporarily.

My biggest complaint is the high mintage of 5,500. I have never seen a 2-oz coin with such a high mintage.

My second complaint is the repetitive theme. For example, in 2015 alone, the beaver design was used twice: first, a 1-oz coin in the "Legacy of the Canadian Nickel" series; second, a 5-oz coin in the "Big Coin" series.

On the plus side, with gold plating, this 12-sided coin seems well made.

I will purchase this coin only if there is a huge discount, which one can reasonably expect in auctions or on Black Friday.

Saw a small picture of this coin today. It's a 1 oz coin, to be released in April. The price hasn't been revealed.

The design is the same as the $2 Polar Bear design, with a letter "W" on it.

@commems the quality of this coin is excellent; I haven't seen any imperfection on this coin. I recommend this coin.

However, I feel the smallest leaf at bottom should have a higher relief. Right now, that leaf seems a bit collapsed.
