That is damage not corrosion but on this level of grade, it should pass problem free at the VG8 level.

Procedure name: Right cheilectomy with implant
Diagnosis: Right hallux rigidus

Basically, I cannot bend my right big toe. It is swollen and painful with a bone spur and no cartilage where bone is growing to try to heal the area.
35 minute operation and about 3 weeks out of work. Cannot wait to get this done!

I always try to find the part of those cardboard flips with staples, that I can open. Then, very carefully, bend it very wide, and remove the coin straight up without touching any staples. That is my method but it does take a steady hand and practice.

Yeah, I fugured -+.4
I can get some pics up tomorrow. They sound like every other genuine Morgan I have on the drop test and devices seem accurate. Just polished like I said.

So my scale is calibrated accurately. I make 100% sure of that.
I weighed each of the 5 Morgan Dollars I received to check tolerance as they were all polished beyond belief (bullion lot).
Each came back at 26.73 grams or very close to it on the minus side. One however, came in at 26.77 grams.
What do you think? I know how much Chinese junk is out there but like I said, a supposed ethical dealer on eBay with very good feedback. First time I bought from this particular dealer.

Looks original. Possible extremely light cleaning in the past. F12 here.
The commons seem to be going from 32-37 lately on the bay. Then of course you have to consider shipping costs and ebay taxes as well.
Why I prefer to buy at shows.

I just bought a 5 coin lot from a notable, reputable seller I have dealt with in the past.
Here is what I told eBay about my experience with this seller. Whether or not they take it seriously is, well, up to them.

This trend has littered eBay of hundreds of listings. I encourage all CCF members to report any listings of Morgan's you feel are counterfeit.
I reported about 15 auctions to eBay. Finally, a good action.
I am starting to stack Morgans again and this is not welcoming.
Always buy from reputable dealers with very high and good feedback.
