Series 2006-A $100 Star Note Error?, Should I Have Graded Or Spend It?

It's a Star note, that looks to be AU/UNC.

If you can't afford to keep it, spend it. If you can afford it, keep it. Its a circulation find, so what did you invest?

I don't understand someone, who says he/she is a Collector, and then selling one, and breaking up the set, just because it has a greater value. That's not a True Collector.

Don't buy on eBay. eBay has significantly higher prices than average.

About the only time I buy on eBay, is when its an auction, and something I really want, otherwise I do go shopping other places. EBay has just got way too expensive, if you know what I mean.

Most federal reserve notes aren't worth much over face. I picked up the below for $25 and it's easily over 75 years old

How long ago was that? A quick check on EBay, I didn't see anything less than $125, raw or graded, in any district.

I know everything has gone up drastically, and US Paper Money is no exception. If you keep something long enough, its bound to gain value; but there are exceptions.

Like back in the Nineties? I was thinking the '40's, or the '50's. Yes, that does make you wonder.

No such thing as being a loyal customer either. How many dealers have been buying from the mint for 60 years?

Aside from that, their practice of removing a product from your cart, because their Cheap system crashes. Who here hasn't lost out on something they wanted, because f this. Pretend your at WalMart, and someone likes what you have in your cart, and takes it. What would you do? And then they send you a survey, and ask....."How Are We Doing".

What a JOKE they have become!

As far as the 2021 ATB Tuskegee Airmen quarters are concerned, they have been sold out in all forms for a couple weeks now. I can't believe there will not be any placed in circulation, but for now, that appears to be the case.

A 3 roll P,D,S box, that the mint gets $49 for on their website, sold on EBay for $180 last night.

Well, that's not surprising for a much anticipated coin. They went on sale back on Feb 08.

February 8th was just a little more than a month ago. It states "No Mintage imit" but obviously there is. And just because it's the last ATB, does that make it anticipated? Maybe the Mint is just trying to create another "Rare" coin.

And no; I didn't see any bags or rolls of the new Washington quarter either.

What's going on with this?

The Mint is completely sold out of the last ATB quarters in the series. I usually buy a 3 roll set (P D & S) of the series, but had to buy the P&D rolls separately from the "S" roll, and pay $10 more.

Thanks for the other site goldnugget. You wouldn't happen to know what part of the Florida panhandle this is, would you?

All three eggs at the Iowa site have hatched. I was lucky, and tuned in when one of them was feeding a breakfast of fish to them.

If that were the case, would Eagle be the centerpiece at the Thanksgiving table, because Turkey would surely be protected.

Just in case you weren't sure just how big these birds are...

They are slowly making a comeback in my area, which is Greater Cincinnati (Ohio,Kentucky,Inaiana). The only ones I have seen, where in the local Zoo. They have been along the Ohio River, on the Kentucky side for several years, but are branching out in all three states.

Something I thought I would never see.

Just in case someone hasn't seen one of these sites, here is the Big Beautiful Bird that graces much of our money. Currently, there are Three Eggs in the nest.

I haven't been on the Coin Roll Hunting section for quite some time. I got interested in paper some 5-6 years ago, but on occasions I will pick up a box of cents for fun.
Just skimming through this thread, I see your not looking for errors and varieties. If I may make a suggestion, why not SLOW down with your goal? There is so much to look for, and some can be quite valuable. For most of us "Coin Nuts", it is a hobby that should also be enjoyed.
Just my opinion.
