Have been working on this series for a couple of years now.
Only have about eight coins, but came across this one the other day, so another hole filled!

So for the header its New Times Roman 26pt, normal. And for the date I used Calibri 10pt, normal. I did the dates in Bold. Craig did send me some uncut cardstock that he uses, but with my inkjet it did not turn out well. So I use an Eggshell color carsstock. Best replacement Ive found so far.

I will take a look at my template over the weekend and let you know that info.
I dont know if putting thru the cardstock with the holes cutout will go thru your printer. I'm thinking it will get jammed up or rip the paper during the printing process?
I print both side of my paper, the make the cutouts.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year and/or Mintmark and/or Denomination to Title. It's essential to have it in the title. ***

I dont have many of what I consider the "odd" denominations. Came across this three cent, and decided to purchase it. I gave it a acetone bath, then into a air-tite. Love Civil War era coins. Enjoy the wewkend!

Nice work! It's not as easy to sell as I expected to be.
I have sold some coins on ebay, and thinking of selling some more, but the fee's and shipping are getting crazy.

I decided before the summer gets here, let me work on updating another album. This is the only other album I add the colorized coins to. It lays out really nice since each issue has 4 coins (P,D,S,S) so putting it at the front of row works out great. I had tried it a different way, but changed it to this layout and really like it, hope you guys do to!
Page1 done, 4 more pages to go. Jim

Modern Releases From The US Mint

I loved that they went back to making non proof S mints coins. I beleive the 2012-20 quarters were mixed in the P&D mint bags/rolls, so anyone had a chance of finding one. They are going to be harder find and in higher grades in the future.
The problem with the 2022-25 S womens quarters is that they are not being released into general circulation. So even though they have made the mintage as low as say a 32D or 32S, they will never be hard to find or rare as they only sold them in rolls from the mint.

This is the original CAPS album page for the first page of the album. I just replaced the 2021 WCD's with the colorized coins for that year. Each page is a complete year in this series.

For this album, I bought it complete with the pre-printed pages. I wanted to change the layout and print/cut my own pages. to be able to do this, my wonderful wife figured out all the spacing for all the CAPS album pages. She then figured out how to cut out the "circles" on each page using her Cricut machine. She put all the templates in a folder for me to use when I'm making or updating an album.
Craig from CAPS/Valley Coin gave me some blank paper so that he uses with the albums he sells, but I'm printing with an inkjet, and his paper (which I like better) is too glossy for my printer. I think I would need a laser printer to use his paper.
I will upload a photo of the original first page sheet that came with the CAPS Album...

US Treasury Ordered To Stop Producing New Cents

imho, I'd like to keep the cent and five cent coins. The Federal Reserve only orders new coins from the mint, because that's how it has always been!
If the fed reserve and mint can find a way to re-circulate all the billions of cents out there, there wouldn't need to order billions of new ones each year.
I would hope that the heads at the mint would realize it would be a great way to get new collectors by still producing a much smaller amount of pennies and perhaps nickels each year making them more of a collectible. Just don't make them a subscription roll-based item. The women's circ. "S' mint quarters are like this. only a small amount made, but all in rolls, so they will never be rare or hard to find.

I print and cut my own pages. After I printed these, I thought about adding the year to the top of the page, so I may go back and print another set at some point.
And I did think about leaving out the name on each of the coin slots and just put the date/mintmark. I just copied the layout that came with the album, but the top row had slots for the 2021 Wash crossing the Delaware, which I did not want in this album. So, I replaced those with the colorized quarters.

Hi, thanks for the nice comments! I wanted to keep each year on its own page. That would leave me with one "row of five" empty. So I searched out the colorized versions (got them from Littleton) and thought it would be a good way to fill that empty row. It also lets you see the subject of each coin easier.
And while they have no numismatic value, I didnt put them there for that reason. Just thought it would make it an interesting and different type of page layout. I make my own pages for the CAPS albums, allowing me to layout the pages this way.
I do similar with my Innovation Dollar albums, put have placed the colorized versions on the end of each row.

Hi all, don't know how many of us here collect this series?
I wasnt going to, I'm getting tired of all the Quarters programs.
I wish the mint would at least issue a normal pre'99 Washington Quarter each year along side whatever quarter program they are pushing!
That being said, I caved and decided to make an album for this thankfully short series. I love my CAPs album, but always change up the layout a little. Let me know what you think. Jim

I know this an old post, but I do collect all the SML privy's, but it is hard to get a good listing or mintage for a lot of them. Wiki has a good, but not complete listing, but I don't know of any other. As for the "f15" series, I have all up to and including the 2020 and that is the only privy I've seen for 2020 from the RCM.
Then I guess covid hit ,and if any other privy's were planned (Edison, Lunar, ANA series) they were cancelled with all the shut-downs.
For 2021, 22 & 23 there has been nothing from the RCM that I am aware of?
I see other "f15" coins from Ukraine & Australia for 2021, but none after that, so maybe that entire series is done?
Now for 2024 the RCM has released their premium SML's now with privy marks, so maybe the privy's are returning?
If anyone knows of any privy marked SML's from 2020 forward, please post them!

Feedback On CAPS Albums

So, I will give my input on Caps Albums. They are top quality, and I moved everything I have into them. I probably have 30 Caps Albums.
I have talked the Craig multiple times over the years, and he is a great. As with any product, if you purchase enough, you will get a defective one. I have received a few pages that the plastic was cracked, a binder that was not riveted properly and a slipcase that had issues. He has always sent out a quick replacement, no questions asked and apologized for the mistake. I have ordered alot of custom binders, and they had been shipped within a reasonable time frame up to the pandemic.
Well at the end of 2020, I placed an order for three custom binders and some blank pages. Well 3 months later and nothing, I called, talked with Craig who said with covid he was behind with the customs, but not to worry. Well, that order never processed. It wasn't anything I need right away. So, I re-ordered the exact order from 12/29/20 on 3/8/22 everything the same except the price went up $95.00. But as of today, I have never received that order either. (I was never charged for either order)
So I don't know what going on with Caps Alums or Valley Coin, tried calling Valley a few times last week as I am ready for the albums I wanted, but got no answer. I am going to place one final order just for the custom binders today and see what happens. I have ordered the generic supplies on ebay from LCTcoinsupplies which I think is part of Caps/Valley but not sure about that.
I will update as I receive my item's or not.

I have been building my FT collection for about 15yrs. It's fun, a challenge and most not to expensive.
The 1970's dimes have been the harder group for me to find in ms66/ms67 FT.
