Quality control lacks in everything man touches. The mint is no exception. I had a blemish on the plastic lens right over the Kennedy Half Dollar in my 2025 proof set, and thankfully that has been the only item I can remember. The coin was not harmed. Seven days to return, those look like a good candidate for a return. |

The website is the website. Most modern technology is unreliable and not designed to be at all user friendly. Most of it approaches worthless in my book.
That being said, my only issue in 2025 beyond this with the Mint is that their so-called loyalty program for "free" budget postage has never engaged with my account. I no longer order anything from them that was not already on my subscription. Four plus months into 2025 and it remains broke. That is the lot I get for living in this technological age.
So not ordering anything from the mint saves having to work with a website, and since virtually all websites are designed by millennials with no grasp of reality or common sense, this web site does not stick out as worse than any other. |

I have collected all of the mint state issues (no errors) from 1930 through 2024 save one coin, and no it is not the usual suspect. I would never have imagined that a 1978-D would be the one coin I am missing. Each of these coins is graded, MS64 to MS68 and PF67 to PF70 as appropriate with the higher grades in more recent years.
My 2nd to last purchase, which arrived last week, is this one (which just might be the usual suspect):

I collect the Lincoln Cents in proof, graded and have all the issues 1950 through 2024. Now that the 2025 ones are coming down in price, I will begin to take a look at them. I bought the 2024 in PF70 in Jan 2025, for $34.95, way down from their prices in 2024, and the same will go with 2025. The proof strike is a beautiful way to showcase the minter's art.
I also have a complete set of proof issues for 1952 through 1972, and a few gaps here and there for 1973 through 1998, also graded. I also have the 1950 and 1951 issues, minus the Franklin Half Dollars.
I also have a complete set in original packaging for 1955 through 2025, so yes I do have a few proof coins and sets. |

I do collect Positions A and B, it gives my eyes a good workout. I just ordered the Michigan coins, set of four, two mints, two positions. I still wish the date and mint mark were on the obverse. |

I am building a collection of graded proofs for this series, all PF-70 UC. Thus far I have all the 2000-2008, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025. I am not worrying about whether the series will end or not, that is beyond my control, thankfully. |
