Hi,

I have a 2017 Frederick Douglass quarter that has a die chip/cud? instead of the designer initials on the obverse of the quarter. Would this be considered a mint error and worth keeping?

Thanks

Probably not my best picture, but my magnifier doesn't go high enough for a full shot. All my other quarters from around that time tend to come in lower than normal, likely due to wear. Just found it odd that this one comes it at around 5.85 to 5.86.

I saw a reference to a 1977 quarter that weighed 5.85 due to having 40% silver content, but nothing on a 1967 quarter so wondered.

Hi,

I have a 2017 Missouri Quarter with not only the birds nest, but also an unusual cud on the obverse below the bust with a trail to it that almost looks like half a turkey, lol. Some minor errors on the reverse windows also. Wondering if it's worth keeping and if it would have any value? Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm pretty new at this.

Thanks, but now I'm confused, lol. Do you mean there is doubling, but only on the G? If that's the case, I'm guessing it's still not worth grading?

Thanks again.

Hi,

I have a 1965 Quarter that has clear doubling on the reverse on the wing, and on some of the lettering in United States and in the Quarter Dollar. Is it worth grading and selling? Attached are pictures including a side by side to show quality, with the quarter in question being on the right. Obviously well circulated as it's a 1965, but has a nice shine and looks clean unless using the microscope.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I have a 2007 Penny in excellent condition. A few minor bubble style markings, but only really visible under the microscope. One by his mouth, which makes it look like he's blowing a bubble or spitting. What stood out to me was his upper lip. You can see one and very clearly defined. I don't remember seeing this on other coins. Wondering if it's worth grading due to color and definition and also if the lip would make it a variety coin?

Hi,

I have a beautiful 2007 penny in excellent condition/color and am wondering if I should get it graded. Great definition, including seeing an upturn shape to his upper lip which seems unusual. Under microscope there are a few minor bubble style markings, but cannot see those without microscope. Interesting part to the markings is that one is in front of the lips and one by the profile of his other eye. Almost looks like he's spitting or blowing a bubble.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it's worth grading and could use some advice. See images.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what type of coin error this is? It's an unusual one due to the swirls in the center.

Sorry. Was having issues with getting good pictures. I think it might just be worn as there may be something there. It's hard to say.

Hi,

I could use a little help. I have a 1937 Wheat Penny, but cannot find VDB anywhere on the coin and it weighs 2.88g. Is that common?

I found a 2000 Quarter with errors on both the reverse and obverse of the coin. I can't tell if it's double die or machine doubling, but think it's the latter. If the latter, even if it's machine doubling, it's on both sides. Would this coin have any value? Thanks in advance. :)

Hi,

Does anyone know why a 1985 quarter would only weigh 5.46g?

That's a bummer. They all are very new looking for older circulated coins. Not brown, but shiny red and well defined.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi,

I have several older Pennies in excellent condition. Wondering if I should grade them and if they'd have value. Any help is appreciated.

The first 4 images are as follows:
Two 1964 weight 3.10g
One 1965 weight 3:04g
One 1966 weight 3:16g side is dark brown, odd but front and back are red
One 1985 weight 2.51g
One 2002 weight 2.50g

Second set of pictures are
One 1969 D weight 3:10g
One 1981 weight 3:08g
Two 1999 weight 2:48g
