Thanks everyone. I think it's a manganese quarter because it looks just like the 1999 experimental ones. However, I think your right that it's probably an after-market piece to throw back into the wild. Lol. ;)

Hi all! I need your brilliant minds to guide me because I can't find anything on this very yellow but yet faded 2003 D Arkansas quarter. I came across experimental quarters that were yellow but they were only produced in Philly. Could this be an error? Or really circulated gold plate was faded? This can't be toning cuz I'm assuming it wouldn't be so even on both sides. Thoughts?

2000 D Sacagawea Error?

Hello all!

My coin is in pretty good shape & I couldn't see this error (I think) until I put it under the microscope. It looks like it's the bottom of the U & part of the other letters by the beak or machine doubled on the letters? what do u think? Is this an error?

Sorry guys. I didn't add the reverse side because it looked normal. It was late & not thinking. Lol. I'm adding it now. There's definitely something underneath his beard that looks like an extra or doubled collar.

Hello.
I came across this penny & I know it's damaged but does this look like it has an extra collar? Letters in liberty sometimes looked doubled & is it normal the letters & the "1956" are different sizes? What ya think?

But wouldn't the words or image be completely gone if it was corroded? It feels soo light. I'm surprised it weighed the 2.7! Lol. Any chance it was struck on another type of coin or silver? Last question. should I clean it to see what's underneath the black? (Bad bad Girl cuz I know better but since it's nothing special, why not?)

I'm so new to this! & "keeper" meaning keep for my grandkids or keeper as in send to be graded? (I'm obsessed with finding that one coin worthy enough to be graded! Hello.
Im excited to share this penny with missing letters!! I don't think it's worn because the reverse side looks good. In some angles u can see the year & some of the wording in God we trust but the LI is completely gone. Is this fake? Worth anything? What do u think? :)

I checked google too & compared what's online to mine & my 1 is bigger. All the images online has the 1's the same size.

Am I crazy or is the first "1" in the 1971 bigger than the second "1"? Is this normal? It's definitely thicker. Would this have a name?
