Quote: When you mean chop coins, do you mean chopmark Chinese coins? .
I wanted to say "shop" not "chop"
@Spence Thanks for the link. In Hong Kong, prices were indeed high. But I still bought a Macau banknote there. I'm looking for some really good shops or markets where there is a large selection. Not all countries have well-developed numismatics and you can find something for yourself. |

I'm not sure if I chose the right category. It's not too soon yet that I plan to go on a trip to Asia. As a numismatist, I am interested in the question of where I can buy coins. I know that there are very good places for collectors in Hong Kong and Jakarta. Do you know any shops in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur or maybe Singapore? I checked the dealer list on the NGK website, but as my experience in Bangkok showed, they may just be offices, with no way to buy anything. |

I want to show you a small souvenir that I received from a friend from the USA.
If I'm not mistaken, this is a banknote dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Mexican independence.

In 2023, I had the following plans:
-1999 Rouble Pushkin in slab -2001 Rouble 10th Anniv. CIS in slab -Obol Pantikapei Bosporan Kingdom of the 4th-3rd centuries BC in slab These same three coins were also part of the 2024 goal. Now I'm giving them up. I didn't make any progress and realized that I didn't need these coins in my collection at all.
The rest of my list remains the same as it was in 2024. But as the previous year showed, my money goes to completely different things and most of my replenishments happen when I go on a trip.
Plans for 2025: 1) Continue collecting Series American Innovation. This item will probably also be deleted in the near future.
2) Series American Women Quarters. I plan to use the money I save to expand and in the future to purchase both mints P and D.
3) Assemble a complete set of 50 State Quarters for my album. Mint P is fully assembled. Now you need to assemble the mint D.
4)Commemorative coins Georgia: - 10 Lari State System 3000 Years; - 10 Lari 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ.
5) Commemorative coins Armenia: - Set Provinces Series 50 dram 2012; - Set coins 30 years of national currency 2023
- 100 Dram Caucasian otter WWF[;
- 100 Dram Armenian silver seagull WWF. WWF coins are too rare and expensive so I will postpone these purchases until better times.
6) Continue collecting regular and commemorative coins of Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Indonesia.
7)Collecting Danco 7070 PCGS. But this point can also be crossed out, since in the current conditions it is practically impossible to replenish it. |

Carrigna, I recently visited Uzbekistan. You are right about the strong inflation. Coins are hardly used there, and banknotes are difficult to find, but they can be found in good condition. I brought back some banknotes and coins from there. You can see them in my topic. |

The United States Post Office reports that delivery is delayed due to weather conditions. I hope everything gets better soon. |

I received a notification that a parcel is waiting for me at the post office. But I am confused by the fact that it is from Azerbaijan. Have we ever had a participant from this country? |

The last thing I want to show you is the banknotes that I managed to save. Currently, 2021 banknotes are actively used in Uzbekistan, but sometimes older copies are also found.
Uzbekistan 2000 Som, 2021

Uzbekistan 5000 Som, 2021

Uzbekistan 50,000 Som, 2021

There are also banknotes in denominations of 10,000; 20,000; 100,000 and 200,000 Som. |

My gift is still on the way. It usually takes only a few days to enter the United States after passing through customs. I expect it to arrive by the end of the holidays. I am very interested in who my secret santa is, given that the United States and Canada cannot send parcels to Russia, the list of participants is narrowing. |

I had to rename the photo completely and it helped.
Uzbekistan 25 so'm, 1999 800th Anniversary - Birth of Jaloliddin Manguberdi. The last Khorezmshah. The state of Khorezmshahs is the name of the medieval state of Khorezm. The state included the entire territory of Turkmenistan, as well as the entire territory of modern Uzbekistan, parts of the territories of modern Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Azerbaijan and Syria.

Uzbekistan 50 so'm, 2001 10th Anniversary - Independence of Uzbekistan. There are 2 varieties of this coin. 6 grams and 8 grams. I have 6 grams.

Uzbekistan 100 so'm, 2004 10th Annniversary - State Currency.

Uzbekistan 100 so'm, 2009 2200th Anniversary of Tashkent, Independence and Goodness Monument.

These are not all coins. There are 7 commemorative coins in total, but I only have 4. |
