Another tough to see DDR! This 1939 P LWC is a uniform color which is not easy to see doubling errors. I could see no DDO on the obverse. But there is a DDR on the reverse! It's either a 001 or a 003. Not a bad wheatie except wear, nicks and the color is simiular foreground to background. Take a look and let me know your thoughts and regards all.
So my bank coins have not been great the past two weeks until last Thursday. I finally got penny rolls which had a mix of Shield and Lincoln Memorial cents. I found this 1983 P LMC with what appears to be a 001 Doubled Die. I must confess this cent was a pain to identify because I'm lousy at it. I looked at Copper Coins, Wexler and Variety Vista and this penny looked like all of them so I picked Copper Coins because my coin surface looked muddy and dirty and showed no Die sirachas Like V.V. and Wexler on their coins. I apologies to all for my short comings in picking DDO's. The last two pics show very light Die Cracks at the bottom of the Memorial. Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards!
Looks like someone used a punch to reduce the diameter to match a dime so you could use it in a vending machine. I have a couple in my collection. Regards to all.
This is a very interesting 1982 P LMC coin. First it weighs 3.1 GM's so it's copper and it has a small 2 on the date. On the obverse it has two rims starting at God of the motto to Lincoln's shoulder and a Cud between the two rims left and right of the L of Liberty. It is very unusual to find a double rim approximately 40% of the coin, a first for me. Secondly the reverse has two Die Cracks from the left and right Memorial roof line across the I's in United & America! I guess you could say the I's have it. Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts. Regards all.

One of my favorites, A 1983 P LMC with three Die Cracks on the reverse with two Die Chips involved on the big Die Crack showing the Die Chips across the D in United! The other two Die Cracks are at the normal position at the left & right Memorial foundation. The other Die Chip is to the left of Lincoln's head looking like a round ball. Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards all.
Here is a 1961 P LMC with an example of Machine Doubling on the obverse and the reverse. It has all the ear marks including shelf like appearance with no notching of the script. I spent an hour looking at the internet and this had me spell bound trying to figure out if this was a DDO or not! I finally came to the conclusion it was MD after looking at 1961's with MD. So I took some pics (sorry about the number of pics) and hopefully it might help someone with my weak point identifying DDO's. Regards to all!
This is the only 1064 P 90% Silver Kennedy Half in my collection! Does anyone know if it is the extended hair coin? Look at the pics and let me know. Regards and thank you for looking!
I have 16 1966 LMC I have set aside in a plastic tube for when I don't get to the bank! I went through my bank rolls so I looked at my set asides and picked what I think is a DDO based on Varity Vista 1966 P DDO-001. My record is not good with Copper Coins which caused my switch to V V for this time. Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and as always regards to all.
Here is one of my favorite coins a 1983 P LMC zinc penny. You never know what you will find especially on the reverse of this coin! This one does not disappoint, there are three Die Cracks one across the E in United from the left top of the roof to the rim. Two from the right and left of the foundation of the Memorial to the rim. There are two Die Chips one that looks like a ball between column's 1 & 2 on the floor and one on column 4 half way up the column. Then there is a strip on the right side of the Memorial to column 12 and what looks like a coin under the right foundation. I think I got them all. Take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards!
Got this 1972 P LMC last week in one of my penny rolls from my bank! Nothing unusual except it is a good looking coin. It Is a circulated coin that I think is at least close to an AU. There are a couple of hits one above Liberty on the obverse and one on the steps of the Memorial. There is what I think was a carbon spot over the IB in Liberty, and on the top left roof of the Memorial that looks like a pile of twigs! The fields look great and this 1972 is the best one I have seen. Take a look and let me know your grades and regards to all.
This came out of my Nickel bank roll today! Very clean for a circulated coin so I'll stick it in a 2x2 flip. The obverse is better (cleaner) than the reverse. No visible steps due to circulation. A ton of 64's out in the wild but a lot show worse than this. Obviously not an AU canidate but still a nice Nickel. Let me know your thoughts and regards!
I thought I posted this 1964 Silver Roosevelt Dime (2/15/25) yesterday! But a search didn't turn up my entry so I am doing the entry again. I apolgise if I doubled up, but I searched and never found my origional so here is the coin. Nothing special and coin is circulated so no lower band is visible on the torch therefore no full bands. It is great to find a silver dime now and again. Anyway regards to all.

Found this 1964 90% Roosevelt Silver Dime in my bank roll of Dimes this week! Unfortunately circulation wear has made it tough to see the bottom bands on the Torch so no full bands. It's still nice to find aq Silver coin occasionally. Regards to all.
Yes I find all of my coins in the wild, all from bank rolls.as I buy no coins Each week I trade at least 5 rolls of Lincoln cents and a roll of Nickels, Dimes and Quarters. Although I will change my weekly coins because of the Cent demise rumered in the Press. Such is life! Reguards to all and thanks for your replies.
