Good evening community. I have post this coin a few days ago. My very first message was great. BISECTING DIE CRACK RIM TO RIM. Several messages came through which were negative I appreciate the help and criticism. After being informed to give ACETONE DIP. I posted coin with Acetone can. Can. After the coin was dipped the cracks are still there. Obverse side is really noticable. Reverse side is hard to see yet there CRACK starts at the D in District through A frame of house to bottom window I lose it in the jacket. If ANYONE can tell me if this is new discovery or even info on the hand on reverse side as well as date it would be helpful. Thanks again for the Acetone dip trick. Does this work on all coins even silver. Coin actually looks better. God bless and happy hunting

I was advised to prove community wrong by another party. Either way we will see. 7pm new pictures will be posted. Thanks for the information on Acetone. If this quarter doesn't get ruined then I'm on a cleaning binge. & God bless

Good evening community. I got this nickel today. Was wondering why it looks so new. These last few days I've been getting great looking coins with my son. Can someone please tell me about the coin or even if there's a premium to it.

If you look on both sides of coin the cracks are mirrored it's impossible to get adhesive perfect as the cracks are

My collection may not be the best yet it's worth more then money. It's time I spend with my son and we enjoy it. Thanks again for acetone dip yet I know better then to clean a coin. Thank you community for previous feedback. All was helpful. Now I have this dime that is pretty strange. I thought it would be environmental damage yet why is his ear like it is. And on reverse side it's as if it's pushed out more. The torch is weird as well any help is appreciated

Thanks Spence for taking the time to respond. So the heat will make spacing in letters different and all letters in word America touch but the E on reverse side. I'm just trying to learn.

Good evening community. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a dime like this or another coin. The ear seem to be pushed into coin or recessed. I've never seen the hair go around entire ear. And in temple area it looks like part of coin is missing. On obverse side. The word IN also looks like a L N touching. One reverse the recessed area is pushed through on top left branch. Can someone please explain why?
