Thanks, E&V!
Quote: Have you found the 1999 Wide AM yet? No sir. I have found many 98 and 2000 WAMs but not the first 99. I have also not found a 92 CAM, either mint. Still searching for those guys. |

Quote: Still worth the risk, in my book. Definitely! You might lose a couple of bucks at the most. I have been had by seller pics before on Morgans but usually not much of a loss and is worth taking a risk for when it does pay off.
Did you check for an RPM? There are a bunch and it may help with resale, even if it is one of the minor ones. |

I always try to be in your corner, you are sharper than the average bear! Wondering whether it's even an RPM, much less an inverted RPM, as you suggest. No doubt yours is the same die as the listings but I am really not sure two of the best attributers have called this right and odd Wexler does not list it at all.... It's way too tight in my opinion, smaller that it should be, regardless of how you turn the D. Just my opinion. |

Once again, very good information, sir.
Quote: Contracts awarded10 by the US Mint for the delivery of CPZ Ready-to-strike planchets specify three types of planchets: CIRCUALTING, UN-CIRCULATING AND PROOF. So do you think there is any difference in the plating between "circulating and un-circulating or is the difference in the strike only, like proofs?
Quote: (There is little argument for an actual double application of plating because of the additional labor required). Is there a possibility that the plating for proofs is just a thicker one layer as opposed to being double plated or is that unreasonable to think there are two different plating thicknesses to keep up with? |
