@Earl42 Yes! You are still helping people! What about 9 years or more? This thread may not be checked again but I am very grateful, will never learn enough, thank you so much .
I've had the pleasure of following through my hobby several very knowledgeable,helpful, and humbling CC members that I really appreciate, and admire. Thank you
These dryer coins are really interesting to say the least, there are so many odd looking coins I find when roll hunting.
Noticed another CC members post this evening about a 2016 LSC with fatter/wider devices than normal,they were told it was a dryer coin. Recently I found a similar 2008d LMC with fatter/wider devices, I've been looking for what could cause this. Could it be like a mid-stage dryer coin, I have not seen a dryer coin with fatter/wider devices unless the maybe the collar is smoothed out as well though kinda .
Really would appreciate you're time if not to late on this thread , or anyone else who happens upon here, (via Coops link myself), Thank you Coop
Bj

@CoinHi,
That's a cool looking coin no matter how/what happened . Are the major areas in question both sides raised/incuse looks to me to be raised when my eyes rest for a few? Regardless I wouldn't spend it! I absolutely love it, and save all of mine that may or may not be errors if they appeal to me that's all that matters . Bj |

@pipe, .
This is only my opinion(beginner one at that sorta), to me it looks like beginning of the progression to the really nice bi-level reverse that was posted a few weeks ago.
@pipe find another bi-level I've seen 2 though heard of a couple others

@Cujohn, Thank you as well very much. I too believe struck through wire bristle, even maybe @coop ;).
I can see when my eyes change while looking for awhile the entire length is rounded and raised.
Though been trying to figure out if getting a picture of this is possible,(raised instead of incuse does anybody know)?
Unfortunately what my eyes see when looking just right doesn't transfer to pics my pics, though maybe an app or ?.
I will be trying to get a better pic with new post this weekend.
At almost 60, I work 68 hours a week by choice, though not much coin time unfortunately
Thanks again to all of you, I really appreciate you're time, help, etc.
