I will also try this 1342 Juchid pul with a written date. "Zarb Qarm seven hundred and forty three" (743 AH = 1342) in a number of lines, all within a double square within a large circle / Double-headed stylized eagle within a multiple border. 18mm, 1.18 grams. Mint of Qarm (?). Lebedev #50-1; Yanina 51; Zeno 43350. What say the judges?

I'm a little late for the party, but here is another Palembang pitis bountou (bountou don't have the central hole)
late edit: notes should read R3 rarity, not R10

This belated AH 707 2 gani is on the halfway point of 1307 / 1308, just thought I'd give it a run, even if it doesn't count for either year.
Apart from the odd catch up here and there, I have no more until 1224. Then I have 3 in a decade and none again for four centuries.
edit: I believe Dearborn has a 1280 ....I don't know if it is dated though.

While I value your critique on the validity of the "1", I cannot see how you would consider it to be perhaps a "2" . The curvature on the top left of my example runs counter to the curvature of a "2", so I would discard that. The curvature of a "6", while running to the left of the vertical, would run through almost -90 deg to the upright, which would require that "extra" space that you mention. (well I would have thought so anyway, but admittedly I haven't actually seen a "6" in this context, so this is speculative on my part) On the other hand, some of the "1's" that I have seen are a bit like a sewing needle in shape, as it is in this alternate version of a 710 (below). (Not my coin yet, still deciding If I need it in my collection).
Having said all of that, nonetheless I take your point that the "1" is not totally conclusive, and it would be best left as a faint maybe until a better example comes to light.
