First, welcome to the forum and retirement!

Seems that you are fully engaged. The Washington Quarter set is a great start (let alone the silver commemoratives). Any thoughts on other coin series that may interest you? Time period?

Enjoy!

The proposed bill would halt production of cents not demonitize them. There will be plenty of cents in circulation for a long time to come.

Proof coins offer you the opportunity to see how a coin's design elements look under the best circumstances (full strike, luster, etc.). A high grade proof, especially those from the 1950's and 60's, especially with a cameo contrast are truly beautiful. For example, a Franklin Half which is often considered a "so so" design, but when viewed in Proof 67 and up Cameo/Deep Cameo is quite beautiful.

I use a Bausch and Lomb Hastings triplet. The magnifier has three lenses bonded together offering very clear, distortion free view. It is great. In addition, for a larger view (and with a light) I use an Eschenbach 6x24.

Hi Dearborn, et al, I maybe a year or two off on the date, but the mint use to offer s mint rolls and bags without having to purchase p and d. You were able to purchase all three together as well.
The change probably came about with the beginning of the American Women Quarter series in 2022.

In addition, starting last year or 2023, the only way to purchase the s mint quarters (non proof) was in rolls along with p and d (p, d and s).

There is nothing wrong with contacting a seller with an offer even if it is listed as BIN. If the seller is interested, they can accept or send you a counter, if not they can thank you for the offer, or not respond. Blocking someone for that reason is is quite odd.

Very nice collection of a very important series. The album layout is great!

The silver proofs in particular are striking.

You shouldn't have any problem selling the ASE, but remember that on EBay you need to account for the sellers fee (12-13% or so).
You may want to check with a LCS and see what their buy price is, usually it is spot + a premium, with spot $32.20, around $33-33.50 or so).

Unfortunately the images are not sharp enough to evaluate the coin.
