Just an unbelievable coin to be in that condition. If I bought it, lol, I would send it to CACG to get it sticker-ed. Simply beautiful coin which will increase in valuable in near future. |

I've done that and thought about getting pr70 only to be shot down to a pr69 and some pr68. You have to get 70s but only the ones if the value on them is high. |

jbuck, simply simply outstanding collection. This is utterly most miserable and upsetting coin to collect. I spent years and years trying to find nice Eisenhower's. Ike coins have always been beaten up in circulation because of their weight. I love these coins and think they are going to be one of the hardest and most appreciated collections in years down the road. Collectors just do not realize how hard it is to have a nice Ike collection. I can not say enough about the coins. I never find nice ones online and if you do they want an arm and a leg. I never found high grades when collecting them when I was young. Good luck and congrats on your collection jbuck. Thumbs up on your collection. |

Most of those sets I have also gotten. I found most of the sets with Eisenhower dollars and other coins in them were terrible in my sets. I never found good ones in those sets. Most were beaten up some how. A lot of older coins in the mint sets too were very rough in the plastic. If your father had them I would just set them aside. These sets carry memories not money. All the coins my father had I've saved all these years. They are special to me. Don't worry you will make the right choice. |

Bret they were beautiful cameo coins but the obv. of the coins seem to be splashed with a red substance. I looked with great magnification and it was on the coins. Oh well I just sent them back to the mint for two more sets. I guess that is my luck. Glad to hear no one else got them on their coins. They weren't carbon spots but something had to be splashed on them because it wasn't on the inner plastic. Oh well good to hear the new sets they will send me should be clean. Thanks for the update Bret. I feel better now. It was a dark blood red in color. |

I would like to know if anyone has taken a look at their 2025 proof sets from the mint. I ordered two sets and opened them. All coins were nice cameo coins but the Lincoln cents in both sets had issues. There are tooth pick size red spots on the obverse side of the Lincoln cents. I am so upset. Wanted to have some nice ones to keep. They are very small red spots on the coin. I was thinking if I send them back I would probably get spots on the next ones. Anyone have sets they have looked at. Thanks. I hope you do not have the same problem.

Little hard to tell from the photos but I would guess around ms67 because I see some troubling marks on the obverse. Reverse looks clean but like I said hard to tell or really make a guess because photos need to be more close and clear. Nice coin though. |

It is a nice strike and looks to be ft. Only from the pictures can not see what ms would be because I can not see close enough for scratches or marks. Good microscope would help you with grading. See some scratches on obverse and do not know what the lighting is around the T in states and around the word dime. If that is deterioration on the dime or just the image reflection. Do not know. The dime though does look nicely struck. I believe better pictures would make it easier to grade. I am terrible at photographing my coins. Some of the people around here are very good at photos and could help more. Good luck in grading. |
