| Thanks for all your comments. I suspected as much. I bought it from an estate auction online, I won't mention the platform, but it was an absolute auction with no reserve and no returns. I lowballed it just to get the bidding started and won. For $50? I thought something was up. I can see the tells very well in the side by side comparison. |

| It hasn't been cleaned since I've had possession of it, which has been about 25 years. But it was well circulated. The criteria for qualifying as a No FG half seem to be very vague. How do you know if it is or if it isn't? Was there a die that actually had the FG missing on it when it was made? Or were the initials polished away in all cases? |
