I am new to currency coin collecting. I differentiate currency and coin because I only used to collect military challenge coins during my
23 year military career. I recently started Coin roll hunting and started using Coinstar. During a coin dump I had 3 1970's Kennedy Half dollars '73, and (2) '77's rejected. I went to put them back in and I got burned by the coins. I attempted this 3 times. I used a hankerchief to try the 2nd and 3rd time. I ended up keeping the coins. These coins were P mint. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
