I assumed this is just browning from environmental damage, but the silver color shows pretty bright in some sections on the rim, and the weight is 2.29 g. If it were missing a clad layer, it should be less than 2.27, and definitely not more. I'm pretty sure it's not on a penny planchett because the size is right for a dime. In the first picture, you can see the brownness. In the second picture, I used a very bright light, so the brownness is quite washed out. The third picture shows the weight.

Coins. I meant coins. Not corns. One last question--is the DDD also the reason that the LIB look smaller than the ERTY, and why they look like they're sitting kind of to the left, as though they're a bit separate from the ERTY? Again, I know what mint errors and varieties I'm supposed to be looking for. I've watched lots of YT videos and now I'm just enjoying looking at lots of different coins to see what all the 'other' things that can go wrong look like. I know this isn't on the usual lists. I just really do love to understand all the 'whys' and I like to look at different coins, and this one has intrigued me. Thanks.
