I came across a 1991 Lincoln cent and was quite surprised to see praying hands on the other side. I have never seen this on a coin before. does anyone have an explanation ?
can anyone tell if there is doubling on the word liberty on this coin? It appeared to me that there was possible doubling after comparing with other photos online..
Ok so after going thru my inherited coin collection frommmy grandpa I found a bank roll In the back corner of a random drawer. I opened it, and it appeared to reveal a roll of uncirculated (or close to) 1980 Lincoln cents nmm. After looking with a magnifying glass I found what I thought may be a ddo error with the L and maybe Y of liberty on one coin.. I included some other photos from the rest of the set. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thx!
Hi Dearborn. Unfortunately, I do agree with you that the condition of these coins is pretty poor, considering they are labeled as uncirculated. not surprisingly if you're checking the label you are you correct that they're from Littleton coin company. I'm still not very experienced with coins, so I am guessing that this is not the best company?
I came across an 03 nickel that is packaged and uncirculated. I noticed a small error on the other side with the word God. It also appears to be a scratch on the reverse over Monticello building. I'm not sure if these are pmd or mint error. I included pic of packaging Thx
I recently inherited my grandfathers coin collection, which contains a lot of old Lincoln cents from 1910s to the 1960s. I am a new queen hobbyist and also new to the foreign. I came across this 1917 Lincoln cent which seems to have a misprint of some sort with the last T in the word trust. Does anyone have any thoughts or information on this? I will likely be posting more photos of interestingcoinsI've come across.thank you
