Ive heard this is a common ERROR coin but can't find much about it online. The doubling is both front and back but only put limited photos on because I get shouted at for too many pics haha.

hello everybody greetings from across the water!
I have this very interesting LMC which seems to be a DDO, I'm not sure about the reverse though but some parts looks doubled like in the C of cent, the last S in states, and the E PLURIBUS UNUM, some other parts look interesting too but just wondered what you guys think?

Thanks for taking the time to look,
regards
Alun

I knew somebodody would say the coins been hit by something causing the the doubled image, I doubt Wexlers coin has been struck by something looking exactly the same as mine, but thats just my opinion everybody is equally entitled to think or say what they like.

Tacc, wow what can I say, you've really done your homework on me haven't you, without getting into an ongoing debate on posts and previous posts I'll let it slide, but don't think for a second I'm only looking for agreements with my posts just polite and sensible feedback, it's not glue like I've said and as for my comments let's talk about your comment about anacs? Was that professional,, NO! it was aimed at annoying me very childish IMHO. BYE BYE

Igwt79, thank you so much for your help with this problem I face, it was TACC's comment..."Does ANACS still recognize glue as a "Mint Error"?", that got me frustrated. Also I've had a very negative experience with my posts with users being less than helpful!! I'll try to behave myself with future comments but it's hard when I feel attacked. Cheers

It would be nice if users on this forum had proper input and knowledge of coins, rather than trying your best to annoy people, but I'm afraid that's all I see on this site, trolls being purposely annoying , spend your time doing something worthwhile rather than looking for targets to get at

Look at this photo properly, the memorial image pressed in to the coin! Glue? Haha, no, absolutely not.

It's not glue or "sticky stuff". It's definitely copper struck into the obverse with the memorial on it, broken fragment or plural struck onto the coin, but thanks for all the effort but I'm afraid your all wrong, if you had the coin in hand you'd see it's clearly a foreign material.

No, it's definitely metal, I've soaked it in acetone to be sure and it came out just the same, it weighs 2.7 grams which shows it's extra metal weight of 00.2. I believe it's a broken coin which got stuck in the press and struck onto a new coin leaving it stamped on the obverse.

I've pointed out the memorial building with arrows to help you see them, it's really odd ,some how the extra metal got stuck on obverse with the memorial steps and the top of the memorial on it, thanks for looking
