Anyone Want To Take A Guess On The Grade For This Kennedy? (1964 Half Dollar)

Thank you so much. My area has always been just pennies, but these were collected over time and stored properly for many years. Going to a coin expo next week so I'm just trying to get prepared. The oldest half dollars I've found so far is a Barber half dollar and Barber dime. I'll post them in a different thread. The collection has easily over 10000 coins, including one that I have yet to date because from all the research I've done it's at least 400 years old. Haven't gotten a professional answer on it, that why I'm not counting it as the oldest yet. I also have older and newer forgein coins. I know my mom would want the world to see all the work she did for her whole life. I'll post other threads for grading.

Inherited a pretty vast coin collection and there is about 280 pre 1980 Kennedy half dollars. This is my first pick.

This one's curious and I almost tossed it in the regular penny pill. But them I looked at the Trust on the observe, and the States on the reverse. It Trust a DDO and what error makes the S almost look like a 5.

Hopefully this is the right thread. I'm not even sure what to call it, but it was in a snapping plastic circular casing

Just the fact I'm getting any opinions of MS state is insane. I know it's low to mid range, but just holding it in my hand is like wow. I know it's not officially graded, but this is just from a quick look through of my collection. I have several of this kind ( as far as RD in MS state if I'm lucky enough) from 1959 ( just one) to 1982, although I'm not sure if the 1982 is the new strike not being 95% copper or the proper transition for that year.

That has seriously been the best explanation I have gotten! Thank you so much! I should have clarified in my message I was talking about Lincoln pennies but you understood that and explained it without talking down to me or making me feel stupid. Honestly, that really made my day. The world needs more of that. Ok, now that I've got a full understanding, I'll post my best pennies no matter the color but still are in very good condition.

I've got over 14000 pics of my collection, and no I'm not going to flood this community with that many pics lol. The only thing with posting on here is the pics can only be up to 300kbs and most of my pics are between 2 to 5 Mbs due to my high resolution camera. I've posted a couple so far and I'll keep going through my gallery to so you the best ones I've got. I also have error coins and some just plain odd but I post those in the error coin group of threads.

Ok, so I know that RD is red, RB is red brown, and BN is brown and only refers to the color and not the grade, but does a coin have to be RD to be MS60 through MS70? In other words, does color play into the grading state or is grading strictly a matter of the sharpness of the coin features and or lack of flaws?

Even with the info and links, thank you guys by the way, you see why I'm at a loss a little. If it was just off struck, then ok. If it was just the issue with Liberty, I'd definitely say grease filled, I got that too. Lastly, the God We Trust is, in my opinion, simply a weak strike. I'd take that as it is, but the In just plain isn't there. I've tilted the coin, magnified it, used different lighting. It's like the coin is really supposed to say God We Trust instead of In God We Trust. With grease filled, unless it is really really grease filled, there is some weak notice of the missing feature, and it bleeds over until the grease is gone like in Liberty if I understand correctly. I've just never seen a missing feature or grease filled so pronounced in such a small spot eliminating the In completely.

I've researched PMD and or PSD, grease filled, die capped, and various different errors and have seen different examples, but this one is interesting. The Liberty suggests that it's either PMD wear by rubbing part of the features off which I'm not leaning towards, or partial grease filled. The curious thing is it seems like it's also partially weak struck In God We Trust, but the In is just simply missing. It appears 5% to 10% off struck but the rim it's isn't damaged and the back is beautiful. I guess what I'm getting to is I've done a good amount of research and I don't know everything, but this is very noticeable with the naked eye and could be eye appealing maybe to a collector. Is it a premium coin worth getting checked out? Sorry for the long paragraph, just was trying to get some obvious things out of the way.

This was hard to photograph. In my hand it's super gold looking and I've got 3 different light bulbs in my photography room. I know shiny doesn't in itself mean higher grade, but it is pretty and would love opinions for a grade
