A little info...
The second one down with the Islamic text is dated AH1244 (translated to AD 1828-1829). You may be able to Google the leaders of the various Arab States around that period and find the correct country and leader.
May be able to get you a translation from my Egyptian daughter in law; will email her the pic.

Correction; I read the date wrong; I make it AH1344 now which according to my reckoning would be approx. 1926.
If I can get the whole translation that will make it a lot clearer.

The second one is a Muhammad Reza Shah 25th year of rule medal. Here is a link to one on vcoins http://www.vcoins.com/pasargadcoins...dProduct=350. I have one myself and tried to sell it on ebay about a year ago and had a start price of $9.99 and it didn't sell so I just kept it. Yours almost looks like silver though? The only ones I have seen are in bronze. Please let us know which  |

Iran uses Solar Hejira (SH) versus Lunar one (AH). The difference being that they have same length year as we do unlike lunar year which is shorter. Thus the difference between AH and SH increases every year.

@ mmorgan22 - Yes, it is indeed silver. It's 35mm wide and weighs 20g.

That is interesting. I have only seen them made in bronze. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about them then I could be able to help you out. I will post if I can find out more about it. |

"On the occasion of ... (20+ years? (cant quite translate)) in the era of his majesty Humayun Mohamed Reda Bahlawi [Iran's last Shah], King or Kings of Iran, [since being crowned Crown Prince in ] September 1344"

@ MikeG - Was very good of you to take the trouble to grab that translation for me. Cheers for that. I'll continue my search using keywords from that translation and hopefully I'll come up with some further information on the coin.
Does anybody have any ideas as to the identity of the other coins photographed above please?
Look forward to hearing from anybody that might have some data or clues...

Piece #1: "Ente Autonomo Fiera Milano" was a trade show organization in Milan; today it is simply called Fiera Milano. Apparently the medal commemorates the fact that in 1965 a "nautic sector" was added to the trade show. Piece #3: This medal was apparently issued to commemorate Pope Paul's pilgrimage to Jerusalem in January 1964. One side has an epiphany theme; the other side says Paul VI, Pilgrim in/to the Holy Land. Have you any idea on an area of the web that might indicate approximate values of those two pieces please? - I have looked and looked but have yet to achieve success on that front.

Sorry, don't know. I do not collect medals myself, and one "problem" with them is that you cannot easily look them up in coin catalogs ...
