What's wrong with everyone. He said it was really really nice! We all know what a really really nice Gold Sac looks like. Who needs a picture?(his spell checker must be broken) Mike

I think this poor guy needs a little education in his fantasies department. It's definitely hilarious, but it's also pathetic. Here we have a guy who is at best only semi-literate and who appears to have been misguided by someone at some time into thinking he's got a really valuable coin (or perhaps he is self-deluded); I hope he didn't pay too much for it, but I suspect he was a victim of a seller who took advantage of his (for lack of a better word) disabilities. Fortunately, he listed the Sac at such a high price that nobody is gonna buy it unless s/he is similarly disadvantaged and has the money to burn, an unlikely combination. When the auction closes with no bids, I hope the seller has enough smarts to re-evaluate his expectations and perhaps learn a little from the experience.

How can he have a spell checker if he doesn't have a "commer"? What the heck is a "commer" anyways? Is this some regional slang I'm not familiar with? If I wasn't so dang honest I could make a few bucks selling "really nice gold Sackies". I've got a few in the vault and since my scanner isn't working I could post some sob story about why I don't have a picture! [:0] Rachel [:p]

Or it could mean "computer" which meant he had no way to post pics since he used a public computer to list the coin.

That makes more sense, but he was commenting on not having a picture! At any rate,it is as sad as it is funny. Mike

Well, I sent the seller a friendly email explaining the metal composition and that the highest price realized in the last 30 days on ebay for a PCGS MS67 was 99.99. Let's see what he does. He has plenty of time to change his price and description.

I got a response back from the seller thanking me for the help. Definitely a good sign! He has changed the price to $89.

That is real good news. And proves "Education is the key to collector/sellers success!"
