any country mint (Eagle, Maples, so on) I have figured to be around $3-4 over spot per ounce, but regular ounces should be purchased at spot to $1 over.

This is my opinion and knowledge of course. And what I can purchase at my local coin shop, now for coins like half dollars/ morgans/ quarters/ dimes I can buy those at spot at my local coin shop.

There is no tax on any pure bullion in Canada.
Maples, eagles $3.00-$5.00 over spot is average
Common silver bars, rounds, spot-$1.50

Is $20 shipping alright? I really want to grab a first majestic 5 oz bar. I believe there isn't tax. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

If you don't care what form the silver comes in, I would say buy the U.S. 90% silver. I have a harder time finding places that sell it for more than a dollar over spot than not. Plus you get a piece of U.S. history with every coin you purchase!

i agree with cjtm, it has slight numismatic coin value due to the history whether the condition is bad or good. It is still much older than a silver ounce and like stated before you can normally buy at spot or very close to.

Silver seems to have hit a glass ceiling. Probably agood time to buy. Its only a matter of time before prices go up because of some fear of economical collapse. Do you guys think silver prices will shoot up just prior to the mayan end of the world later this year?

I'm just wondering what a good price is to buy a ounce of silver at. Right now I'm paying around $35 no tax or shipping for a ounce of silver. Is this a good price to be buying at? if so I'm going to try and add alot more of silver. Thanks

I wish I could get Aussie roos, kooks and koalas for that

Silver an gold have moved more sideways in the last month or so, then ANYTIME since I got into PM's, well over a year now....

Sure seems like safe time to buy. Unless you are BarryG of course, as we all know as soon as he makes another order silver will drop a buck in value an set their like a beached whale for a few moths. Rof JK BarryG just razzin you there a bit buddy, as you dry sense of humor over it all is classic....

Funny thing is, I know you are waiting on silver to hit 30 to buy again, an ofcourse you have jammed up the entire system, lol....

Me as well silver coinrn, give me 30 dollar silver by Monday, or give me death. Oh wait, that was a bit dramatic, lol....

I have my proof eagle set of 12 turned loose on ebay in the link in my signatue, so I would actually be tickled pink if it hit 35 bucks by close Friday, as it has drawn a bid an will sell within four days.....

I am gonna after those Academy bars, and to quote the late king...."Look out now!"

Thanks SCRN, but moved them already to TBK, he is the man, thanks again buddy. I am gonna put most of it into more 35 dollar wolfs, or those Academy bars that have been eatin at me, and should have them listed in house by mid week or so....

I am gonna start SOME (keep a few as well for the personal hoard) of them at a dollar an free shipping on a 7 day run. So keep your eyes pealed all if you like these type bars, might be a chance to get some cool old bars from me at shall we say a TRUE market value price, a rare thing from me indeed as all my BIN are way high I am the first to admit.

If they don't draw much action, may be some good deals to come....
