I merely have "one" of those Thrace, Maroneia TETs ... apparently you have "four" beauties ...

=> ummm, do you have a special interest in this particular coin?

I have also acquired one of these recently, (different dies), via a formal postal auction, conducted by a coin dealer. (not ebay)

My guess is that they all have come from the same hoard.

Some research in this regard would be desirable.

That's over $1000 in one find. I also note that you found that nice Tiberias As as a metal detector find also. How long ago did you find them? I am sure the local museum would also like information on the find sites.

Overall hoard research helps to reveal the area of circulation of a particular type of coin, and can help greatly with die linking studies, to estimate the size of a particular issue.

Wow--nice group indeed! Beautiful coins to find yourself!.
I'm simply amazed you found these--but a little disappointed that I cannot.

What was the burial condition where these coins were found?

Were they dirty?

How did you clean them for presentation?
