Very nice I'm sure that's a bow and quiver on the reverse, but I can't stop seeing a saw

Thanks! It's a gorytos, which is a type of quiver for a short bow. Here is another type showing a standard quiver (not my coin)

The seller's picture suggests more green in the patina than yours. Which is correct? Sometimes the lighting angle that shows detail makes color harder to hold.

Both may be correct, depending on the lighting. My last photo was shot in bright overcast and is true to the light; if I shot in the afternoon w/blue sky and yellower sunlight, it might look as green as the seller's pic.

Beautiful coin DVC! Once again, when I see some of the Greeks that you and Steve bring to the forum, I just want to find a way to bank roll a beauty like yours.

BTW, Snohomish is a very nice area in it's own right, quick trip up Hwy 2 to Steven's pass. Excellent view of Baker!

Thanks Oxos! I'd like to add that I didn't spend much for this coin ($45), but it took several weeks of searching to find this one--and hoping it looked better in-hand than the seller's pictures--patience pays off sometimes.

That's a great score DVC! Even I could afford that. I think it is the patience thing that I lack though :)

Thanks oxos! I'm not normally patient, but my limited budget helps slow me down--I'll spend weeks looking for a single coin. I also use vcoins to build a "wish list" of candidates--it's really helpful to compare a group of similar coins and decide which is the best value.

Great strategy DVC! I'm a bit willy nilly when it comes to what I want. I think if one does what you do .... focus on just one coin until you get it .. makes good sense, especially on a limited budget.
