ford prefect , mate you got it in one ,, nuphil -sherwood was the name , as soon as you said it it rang a large bell in my head ..
now for the puzzle ,
the 3 of them are in self sticky 2x2 not staples , but the 1927 was taken out of the 2x2 by me on thursday to try and get a better pic then put back into a 2x2 staple straight away , first time touched since I bought them .. ford p you said late 60,s well that would be about right as I got married in 1961 and it was after I was married for a few years I starting cllecting coins , so it would be closer to 50 years ,..if there were no self ah 2x2 them days they must have used glue because I had to destroy the 2x2 to get it out ..

Nice pic's
try and get some of the ends of the mace's and the shell at the top of the design, also the steps leading into parliament house.
Then take some of the crown and the orb at the top of the crown on the obverse.

Not a huge one.
Around that time collectors were
experimenting with different closing methods.
Loctite worked very well.
Just had to be very careful not to make contact with coin.

This is where the grade and strike quality is generally determined on these coins.
These are the areas that I first look at when grading this particular florin, The better the detail the higher the grade as a general rule in these areas.
I hope this helps
