Hey, that's not fair! I've only done that about one or twenty-five times! ....just for the record here's the "Real" line up.....Jasmine, Jake, Timmy, Bob, Aimee, Emily and Tommy. That's the cat family. The dogs are Daisy, Sara and Giovonni. My daughter "kitnapped" Tommy, Jasmine, Emily and Giovonni(he thinks he's a cat anyway) when she moved out. We have the other six "kids"....all the other ones are e-dopted, either for cuteness or homliness! Mike

Good news! I am now the proud "Mommy" of a eight-week-old gray tabby kitten named Hayley. One of the techs at the vet's office lives on a street called Hale Avenue and found her in her yard, hence the name. I was considering changing her name to "Morgan" or "Stella" or something like that but Hayley suits her well. She's standing on the keyboard as I'm typing this so if something doesn't come out right that's why. Guess she's trying to say "hi". I'm gonna borrow Dad's digital camera tomorrow and try to get some pictures of her to post! Rachel [:p]

Glad to have the BOTH of you back and with a smile on your face! Of course Old Dan will probably be crushed as he would have been the perfect God Father for a way ward kitten who just couldn't manage the trip to his mail box! Guess we needed some of Catman's magic to pull that one off! I am pretty darn sure that Kyra will live on forever here at this forum!

I really like the name Hayley! So much so that on a side note if I ever have a daughter then I think Hayley would be one of my first choices

I'm working on the pictures- I've been following her around with Dad's camera trying to catch her doing something cute. Of course everything she does is cute IMHO! Right now she's sacked out on the couch. It'll probably be later on in the week or the weekend before I can get the camera back to Dad to run the pictures- he's got a better set-up than I do! Watch this space! Kyra will always be here as long as I'm here- I have no intention of ever changing my screen name. Kind of my little tribute to her! Rachel [:p]

Rachel,
I'm new to the forum, and I don't know you or anything about Kyra.
But, I wanted to express my sincerest condolences to you on your loss. We have a virtual "zoo" here, with 3 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, a snake, and now 8 horses.
I know from experience that the loss of a pet can be hard, as we've just recently had to have two of our horses put down.
Anytime you find yourself missing Kyra, remember the good times you shared. Remember teasing her with her favorite toy, or the way she would always keep you entertained. Most of all, remember that she loved you just as much as you loved her, if not more.
I guarantee, this will cheer you right up.
Again, I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Kyra. May her body and soul find the rest that is surely well deserved.
Your fellow animal lover,
Dan
